Laser projectors can be installed beside or above the track depending on the available infrastructure. Different optics, wavelengths, and laser powers allow the projection to be optimized for the required distance and visibility. The system can also be integrated with external control equipment to activate the laser only when a train or tram approaches the stopping area.
